The Best Websites to Buy Computer Parts Online

Do you have an old laptop or desktop and would you like to upgrade your hard drive and storage without having to buy a new computer? Or maybe you’ll get rid of an old computer system and want to build your dream computer system? However, you will want to find compatible parts for computers at the lowest price.

There are many online retailers selling computer and technology products, but there are some who have always offered great deals on many hardware components. In this article, I will mention some websites that I use to find good deals for the computer parts.

If you are not sure which part of it is compatible with a motherboard, etc., you should look at PC Part Picker, a fantastic page on which you can create and quote a custom PC. The best part is that it will tell you when some parts are incompatible with each other.

NewEgg.com

Newegg.com has always been a great option to buy all sorts of computer components, from webcams to hard drives, graphics cards, power adapters, fans, etc. They only have a lot of things and the geeks like to buy their equipment from there. They also have an excellent return policy, so if something does not work; you can always return it for free and get another one.

What I like about Newegg is that they have Shell Shocker deals, day-to-day deals and eggextra offers that happen all the time. With some of these deals, you can find some really interesting things at a low price.

Micro Center

Micro Center is known for having great deals on the CPU. So always check the site and you can find the lowest price for the CPU you want to buy. They also have shops so you can come in and try to find an offer. Also, you can buy something online and visit it the same day if you live nearby, which is a nice bonus.

Stores are also a fun place to hang out because they have game configurations, a system builder and many other things to kill time. After all, people in the store really understand the technology, so you can ask those questions and they will be proficient to answer them.

TigerDirect.com

If you are looking for hardware, it is always a good idea to look at Newegg and TigerDirect and buy them at the cheapest retailer. They have a very good shipping policy and usually, you can get a free shipping on orders over $100. TigerDirect has been around since the 80’s and they have really incredible deals.

Another way to find great deals is to subscribe to your offers from notifications in your retail stores. I live in Dallas and TigerDirect has a local retail store, which means I sometimes find better deals in the retail store than on the website. If you live near a TigerDirect retail store, sign up for these notifications by email!

Crucial.com

Crucial.com is one of my favorite sites because it really helps if you are not a tech expert and need help finding the right parts for your specific system. First, they have provided storage tips, but now they will also help you find compatible internal hard drives and solid state hard drives. I’m not a hardware retailer, but because most consumers upgrade their storage or buy a new hard drive, it’s perfect to find the right hardware for your system.

I always use Crucial to find the right object, and then I look at Newegg and TigerDirect to see if I can find the cheaper part there.

Frys.com

If you have a Frys electronics store near you, you can find crazy deals in many parts of the computer. They have a large selection of items and they always have big sales in small and large pieces, especially in the store. You can review your ads or visit some bidding sites like TechBargains with Frys listing.

I recently bought a new iPad 2 16GB Wifi for $300 and I picked it up from the store when they had a two-day sale on the iPad. This is the cheapest price I have found!

Amazon.com and eBay

Finally, you can find good deals on Amazon and eBay if you are really looking for bargains. If you’re a member of Amazon Prime, you can get free shipping, faster than on other hardware sites. If you do not mind buying something second-hand, you can always find good deals on eBay.

Wrap-up

Many electronic retailers sell computer accessories and peripherals, and some of them use computer parts, but few offer computer equipment such as CPU, motherboard, memory, hard drives, graphics cards, etc., with large discounts, generous return policies, and excellent customer service.

So I’ve consolidated some authentic sites to buy computer parts online where one could find the best deals on computer parts.
